Vue Devtools is extremely useful when developing Vue apps as it allows you to quickly see your components’ data without having to log output in the console, making it great for debugging. It also has a cool time-travel feature for use with vuex. Unfortunately, it’s only available for Google Chrome, however, it is simple to install in Opera as well:

  1. First install the Download Chrome Extension Add-on. This allows you to add any Chrome extension to Opera.

  2. Now go to the Vue Devtools page in the chrome store and you should see the “Add To Opera” option available, which will allow you to add Vue Devtools to Opera.

  3. Close any open developer tools windows in your vue app and re-open them: Menu > Developer > Developer Tools. You should now have the Vue tab available in Developers Tools.

That’s it! Simple when you know how.
